A Mountain of Possibilities
Mammoth Mountain came to 85SIXTY looking for an idea to help revive the interest of Southern California skiers and snowboarders, drive visits and increase lift ticket sales. Mammoth was increasingly losing brand relevance and seeing decreasing preference as Utah resorts increased their marketing efforts in the Southern California market. Additionally, Mammoth had difficultly competing with many of the amenities of competitor resorts. After 2 poor snow years, Mammoth was also challenged to make an impact on a limited budget.
